Day 57 – Sorry Not Sorry

Honey when they force me,
When their eyes bulge out,
Sugar when it’s such a nasty sight-
I give ’em a sweet kiss and say
I didn’t mean it.

Ointment when they’re stinging from it,
When it kinda burns,
Quick-wrap it
When it gets uncomfortable-
I stitch it up neat in all the trimmings
And hope, oh just really hope it heals.

But the brave ones, I like-
They know my ruse,
And the oxygen is clearer in that room.
