Day 297 – No Reason At All

She said, “If he will not come back I’ll forget him,
I’ll bury his name in the sea.
If he will not say that he knew me, then I
will pretend that he does not exist.”

He said, “If she insists to forget me, then I
see no reason to ever come back.
If she will not say that she knew me, then I
will never return to her shore.”

For pride, as old love, needs no reason
to deaden- no reason at all.

Two hearts turn their backs on each other
for this reason- no reason at all.
