Day 360 – Without Poetry

Every poem I ever wrote correctly
is about how I don’t know
and I don’t know a whole lot
about much.

I wrap my ignorance every day
in papers and ribbons and metaphors
and it gives me something small
to know about, but

I don’t know what I am
without poetry.
